Tradesman / Welder Required

We are a motor vehicle repair company based in Condell Park NSW and we are recruiting a sincere and capable Tradesman / Welder who can work in following areas:

Duties of the position:

• Studying drawings or specifications to determine appropriate processes and job requirements
• Cleaning and preparing metal surfaces for welding
• Preheating thick materials to required temperatures
• Guiding torches or electrodes along lines of weld manually
• Cleaning and smoothing welds by filing, chiselling or grinding
• Cutting metal shapes using flame, thermal cutting torches and guillotines
• Fitting attachments
• Basic hydraulics & general hydraulic fault finding
• Some on the job training for the right candidate

Requirements for the position:

• AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training or AQF Certificate IV or at least 3 years relevant experience
• Various welding skills & techniques
• Work experience in the relevant industry
• Australian Citizen or PR or eligible NZ Citizen only
