Crane Trucks

While it is the owner or dealer’s responsibility to ensure that the crane and truck combination meet stability requirements, the team at A.H Peters can help you do so.

Points to consider when specifying a body for a crane truck:

  • Loading board height: on front-mounted cranes, the crane hook must reach the floor of the body and the ground alongside the truck
  • The clearance under the crane knuckle is usually well below cab height
  • Beacons should be mounted on the cab to keep them out of the way

AH. Peters can be engaged to use the suppliers of chassis mounted cranes for crane fitment to its bodies.
